Unfortunately only literally.

I don’t think I’ve seen something like this before. This is weird.

While landing, from the plane you can see that fires surrounded the city (and mountains surrounded the fires. Where is the way out?). And plane had to go through the big black cloud, just before touching the ground. The way from the airport, to the center and hotel, leads through the burning forest and you can see trees disappearing in the fire.

Big, thick, black cloud is covering the whole city, you cannot see the sun. You cannot breathe without covering your mouth. And the glass of water as the first aid. It is forbidden to open the window (what I did and had a strong coughing attack for a while after).

Are you brave or crazy to behave normally? Should the city have been evacuated long time ago? How sure you are that you can control the fire, on 40 something degrees when cars and objects are spontaneously combusting???

A Ticket For The Summer Fail

I was patiently waiting to drop off all that winter stuff, jackets, sweaters, scarfs, caps, boots, gloves and to get into the light summer clothes, lighter than the air, to float above the hot pavement, around the city… With the eyes closed of excitement, blinded by the Sun.

Surviving liters of rain, washed out colors, gray was the only word I knew… For days. Months. Eras.
Knowing that they would come. The Yellows. Summer months. Oh, the wet skin.. covered with the blue gown of sky… salty lips, heat in the street… Coffee at the balcony, music mixed with my hair, down my back, one cigarette… Because it is beautiful!

And look at me now… Unable to uncover where the winter ended and the spring started, or the autumn began. Or the winter is again. An Eskimo in my own living room, a bubble, sitting bunch of clothes, sleeping mouse, lost under two thick blankets. Failed to learn any other word than GRAY…

But I remember, the colors exist…

Or that was a fake world.

What a Great name for the place. @ Place de Londres @ Brussels. Great place. Just in front of the building where I could have lived, instead of living in front of wooden fish shop.
Like in the movie. Met a group of people. 8, 10.. Maria’s friends. Nobody knew the others. But we were all waiting for Maria. And who is Maria..? Where is Maria? I think I met her before. Don’t remember the face.
